WWE SummerSlam 2021 Almost Sold Out
WWE's Biggest Event of the Summer looks like being a sell-out.
With recent contradicting stories claiming that WWE may or may not be struggling to sell tickets for the company’s impending return to the road, it looks as if Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment behemoth is having no problems when it comes to shifting tickets for this year’s SummerSlam.
Emanating from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on Saturday 21 August, the 2021 edition of SummerSlam is nearly a complete sell-out.
As per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, approximately 37,000 tickets have already been sold for SummerSlam 2021. To give some perspective on how well ticket sales are doing, the capacity for the event has been set at 41,661.
The last few weeks have seen numerous reports stating how WWE is doing everything it can to make this year’s SummerSlam as big as WrestleMania in terms of glitz, glamour and, most importantly, big-name matches.
While nothing has been formally confirmed by WWE at this early juncture, rumours suggest that the returns of John Cena, Becky Lynch, Edge and the Fiend are all a strong possibility for 2021’s SummerSlam as part of WWE’s plans to make the event feel like a major deal.
