The official WWE SummerSlam poster is now available at wwe.com, featuring Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker as the prominent stars. Also in prominent positions are Bray Wyatt, John Cena and Seth Rollins. Notable by his absence is Sting, although the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has said that he's on other SummerSlam advertising. It's also interesting that Kevin Owens isn't on the poster. He's booked against Finn Balor at NXT's Brooklyn event the night before SummerSlam, could he be missing the main WWE special entirely? It is also worth pointing out that Sasha Banks and Charlotte are on this poster, which is reflective of WWE's decision to seriously push the women's division this summer. It's a fun poster, which reflects the fact that SummerSlam will be emanating from Brooklyn, New York this year. The subway design of the poster is a cool take on New York's iconic subway system, with the date of SummerSlam expressed in the style of the subway information Lesnar and The Undertaker are expected to be the show closing main event of the show, in a match that is designed to lure as many Network subscribers as possible. It is a WrestleMania level match, so WWE's aim has to be 1.3 million subscribers over the weekend of August 23rd. Throw in the NXT special taking the place the night before and it really is a weekend that isn't to be missed.
