WWE Super Show-Down: 8 Most Likely Outcomes
8. Elias And Kevin Owens Will Be Squashed
Over the past couple of weeks, Kevin Owens and Elias have both had their issues with Bobby Lashley and, at WWE Super Show-Down, they will finally get the chance to settle them in the ring. However, Lashley will be receiving backup in the form of the returning John Cena.
On paper, Cena and Lashley sounds like a great dream team, and this, unfortunately, doesn't bode very well for Owens and Elias. Given the magnitude of this event (and the fact that Cena is actually making a special appearance for it), there is just no way that the good guys aren't walking out of this one victorious. A loss on the faces' part would likely result in the storyline carrying on after Super Show-Down and, as 'The Champ' won't be around after the event, the chances of that happening are slim.
Moreover, Owens and Elias' recent directionless certainly doesn't give the impression that they're a force to be reckoned with. With that in mind, we should expect this pair to be promptly defeated by Lashley and Cena in a fun but forgettable bout designed just to appease the crowd, regardless of the lasting effects it could have on the losing superstars.
