Albert may not have had much success in the tag ranks, but a brief Intercontinental Championship reign would follow barely six months after Survivor Series 2000.

After a successful spell in Japan as Giant Bernard and a so-so run back in WWE as Lord Tensai, the real-life Matt Bloom has been one of the key players in NXT since 2014 - with him having been the WWE Performance Center's head coach for the past five years.
