At the time of the 2000 Survivor Series, Dean Malenko was well into his second reign as the WWF Light Heavyweight Champion.

These days, Malenko is a senior producer with All Elite Wrestling - with him previously having spent time as a road agent for WWE since his 2001 in-ring retirement until 2019. At last year's Starrcast III event, Malenko revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
