Having decided to take a chance on himself, Cody Rhodes asked for - and was granted - his WWE release in 2016.

Here in 2020, Cody is one of the biggest stars in the business, is an Executive Vice President of All Elite Wrestling, and is currently in the midst of his second reign as AEW's TNT Champion. Cody also founded the American Rebel Cigars company with Frankie Kazarian.
