As per the write-up, the pay-per-view will take place at the Staples Center on November 18th, 2018. The building will also host an NXT TakeOver show on the 17th, Raw on the 19th, and SmackDown on the 20th, as has become tradition around WWE's 'big four' PPV events.

The news broke yesterday, just three days ahead of this year's Survivor Series (November 19th), which features a stacked card pitting most or Raw and SmackDown's biggest stars against each other in seven inter-brand bouts.

On top of this, John Saboor, WWE's Executive Vice President Of Special Events, had the following to say on the announcement:-

“We are very excited to partner again with the Staples Center to present one of WWE’s biggest events of 2018, and look forward to welcoming fans from around the world who will converge on Los Angeles for our Survivor Series weekend celebration. "In addition, we look forward to teaming with our local partners to stage community outreach events designed to leave a lasting impact on our host city."

The Staples Center has hosted WrestleMania and SummerSlam in the past, and has long been WWE's go-to arena when booking big shows in Los Angeles. 13 PPVs have been held there since the building opened in late 1999, with No Mercy 2017 (September 24th) the most recent.
