WWE Survivor Series 2019: 10 Superstars Who Could Be NXT's 5th Man

Who can make NXT look stronger than they already do?

In the wake of an incredible NXT TakeOver: War Games, the NXT brand is looking incredibly strong, perhaps the strongest it's ever been. Yesterday made history for multiple reasons, not only because it hosted the first-ever women's War Games match, but because it marked the NXT return of one of the greatest to ever wrestle for the black and gold brand, Kevin Owens.

With Owens now supposedly an NXT member, a lot of questions have been raised about the different Survivor Series teams. Some are wondering if Kevin Owens can change teams from RAW to NXT, but many are also anticipating the supposed fifth man that many are expecting to be the biggest surprise of the show.

Shawn Michaels is set to announce the lineup for NXT on the Kickoff show, but it seems likely he'll save that big final pick for just before the match itself. With so many to choose from, however, Team NXT may be a little too spoilt for choice.

10. Triple H

Of all the possible rumours floating around, this one has undoubtedly been the most polarising. Triple H has always been seen as NXT's father figure and a fan favourite on the brand, but does that mean the fans want to see him compete alongside his proteges?

There's no doubt that adding The Game to the match would emphatically increase the star power and it would make for an iconic moment to have him lead his troops into battle against the supposed 'main roster'. Plus, we can surely trust him to put on a solid, though likely unspectacular performance, in the match itself.

However, given the sheer depth of talent in NXTs roster, it would be a real shame to put the 50-year-old executive over someone like, say, Matt Riddle.
