What a weekend that was for NXT bad ass Shanya Baszler.
TakeOver: War Games and Survivor Series were both huge for Baszler, and hope springs eternal that she'll bag herself a major match at WrestleMania 36 with Becky Lynch. That looks likely after Bex put Bas through the announce table right at the end of Sunday's show. Maybe Ronda Rousey will be involved too?
There were loads of little hidden gems at Survivors, and this article brings them all together. Forget 'Mania 36 for now, because it's 33 that's the magic number here. That's how many delights were hiding in amongst all those matches WWE put on; weirdly, the aforementioned main event involving Becky, Baszler and Bayley didn't include any. It was pretty straightforward.
Not to worry though, 'cause there's love for the dirt sheets, subtly brilliant presentation, characters forgetting recent history, nasty bumps, some funny signs and a whole load of other easter eggs to sift through. Also, Nigel McGuiness probably won't be bothering Chris Jericho's merch cheques with his alcohol-fuelled catchphrase.
