They were either an idiot's guide to the match-in-waiting, or they provided another excuse for WWE to push NXT into the forefront of fan minds. It might not be an accident that Raw was typically in the background corner of those wide shots. Could this be WWE's way of subliminally telling fans which way the product is going?
