WWE Survivor Series 2020: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

A solid PPV, but not a great Survivor Series.

There are few WWE fans who will be holding up this year's Survivor Series event as one of the flagship show's greatest or most memorable entries, that's for sure.

Disappointingly, neither of the traditional 5-on-5 bouts were booked or performed with much in the way of creativity at all, and so it fell to the peripheral card to pick up the slack - which, thankfully, it mostly did.

If not a great Survivor Series event in any way, the night nevertheless offered up a largely solid night of wrestling with two genuinely spectacular matches, even if for many the most unforgettable segment will surely be the bafflingly underwhelming Undertaker "farewell" that closed things out.

It goes without saying that this year's event was harmed by the exclusion of NXT for necessary reasons, yet for the most part the superstars did the best they could under the circumstances despite some undeniably iffy booking.

As a result, though, this won't end up on many fans' all-time Survivor Series lists. Fingers crossed that next year's edition proves a little more committed to the event's classic spirit...

7. Sami Zayn Vs. Bobby Lashley

Result: Sami taps to the Hurt Lock, giving Lashley the win (7:50).

Rating: Nobody needed this to go long, and while hardly good in any way, it mercifully didn't outstay its welcome - though some might argue it would've benefitted from being a few minutes shorter.

The only major entertainment value here was Sami's hilarious heel antics, and though the right man basically won, a surprise Sami win via shenanigans would've at least been hilarious.

All in all, it's tough not to feel like neither man was much served by this and they should both be doing something more substantial with their talents - especially on the PPV stage. 4/10
