WWE happily dropped hints that both Becky Lynch and Brock Lesnar will be in the house for Friday's edition of SmackDown during a hype vignette that aired on Raw.

The vid claimed that Brock has his "focus set" on Roman Reigns, and teased that "destructions awaits" the current Universal Champion. On Becky, WWE's voiceover asked "what's next" for the new SmackDown Women's Champ.

It'd certainly be bold to include them in the SmackDown hype without delivering at least one of the returnees - the hype piece ended with Pat McAfee yelling, "SmackDown is going to be massive".

Lesnar's last SmackDown appearance came on the 1 November 2019 episode. Meanwhile, Bex last showed up for blue brand business just before that on the 4 October 2019 show. That was SmackDown's debut broadcast on FOX, which seems like a lifetime ago.

It's worth stating that WWE's official website hasn't updated the weekly preview for SmackDown yet. Neither Brock nor Becky has been advertised locally either, although that's likely due to them being surprises at SummerSlam on Saturday night.

McAfee's "massive" boast will ring true if both are there on Friday.
