As for the match itself, it was a glorious demolition derby of over-the-top spots, fan service and slapstick comedy. It wasn't for everyone, and trying to explain it to anyone who hasn't seen it is just, well...

The whiff of Vince Russo overbooking was strong, and it was just what the product needs right now.

Matches like this don't always work and you wouldn't want them to be a regular fixture, but damn if this wasn't the most purely fun PPV main event in a long time.

Again, though, not everyone dug it, and if invoking Russo's name wasn't negative enough, there's always someone else to strike fear in fans' hearts.
