WWE TLC 2018: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
1. WWE Title: Daniel Bryan (C) Vs. AJ Styles
Result: Bryan rolls Styles into a small package to retain the strap (23:55).
Rating: The crowd was unfortunately pretty burned out for the opening stretch, which seemed to harm the energy and atmosphere for a while. But you know what you're getting with these two, and after the awkward opening, they absolutely delivered on expectations.
This was scrappy as hell right up to the surprise ending, and isn't it just enormously refreshing to see an ultra-talented heel winning incredible matches clean?
The fact that we're seeing Bryan participating in some of the best PPV matches of the year was inconceivable not too long ago, but after a shaky start to his in-ring return, he's really hitting his stride now.
And as usual, Styles looks like a million bucks even in defeat. 9/10
