Shelton last won tag titles in WWE on the 3 July 2003 episode of SmackDown. There, he and then-partner Charlie Haas defeated Eddie Guerrero and Tajiri to bag the belts. 17 years on, he and Cedric Alexander toppled New Day to give Benjamin another reign.
