WWE.comECW died in 2001. That was 13 years ago, and some key players in the wrestling world still dont seem to have accepted this fact. By now, we as fans have had many chances to have said goodbye. We had The Invasion angle in 2001 where the company got to battle the WWE, the One Night Stand show in 2005, One Night Stand 2006 (The Quickening), The ECW revival show on ScFy, and yes, Hardcore Justice 2010 in TNA. For some reason, promoters cant let this period in time go, and the corpse of the company keeps being dug up, along with storylines that took place while Seinfeld was still on the air. Whats the deal with that? And yes, there is something wrong with that. On this weeks Impact, Rhino cut a promo on why he turned on Bully Ray, and accused him of swindling Paul Heyman, which again, must have happened 13 years ago! Also, during Bullys promo he mentioned how Rhino was fired from WWE...umwasnt he also fired/released the same year that Rhino was in 2005? I understand TNA wanting to promote Dreamer and Rhino for their upcoming New York shows (that were already taped), but the rest of the country has to think theyre watching a rerun from last decade.
