WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Mar. 16)

4. Bobby Lashley

"The God of Thunder," "The Boss," "The Man With Only One Facial Expression" is back in TNA! Okay, so I made up that last nickname, but the first two were TNA originals. The biggest question upon Lashley's return isn't who he's going to feud with now that he's back, or what his goal is, but "why?" As in why did TNA bring him back? With TNA cutting costs left and right lately, they signed Bobby Lashley again? I can't imagine that he came back cheap. Now, he didn't exactly help out the company last time around, and he wasn't that great in WWE either. At the time, Vince McMahon desperately wanted him to be a star, and play the new muscle-bound beast that Brock Lesnar played for them earlier. And he did main-event one pay-per-view...in 2007. Since then, he's been more interested in his MMA career than anything else. Over the past year, TNA has shown they are absolutely fine without their top stars. Hulk Hogan left, the ratings stayed the same. Rob Van Dam left, the ratings remained the same. Now, Sting is gone and they've still been doing find. It seems Lashley is here to bring back some star power. But with the money they're paying him, they probably could have got 10 talented X-Division or Knockouts to freshen up the roster, and I'm guessing at least one of them has at least two facial expressions in their repertoire.
