WWE will reveal the newest member of the Monday Night Raw broadcast booth on this week's live edition of the broadcast, according to Wrestling Observer scribe Dave Meltzer.

The empty chair comes as result of Samoa Joe's absence after the 'Samoan Submission Machine' was assaulted by The Authors Of Pain as last week's taped edition of the show went off the air. Joe had been in the position for several weeks as he nursed a thumb injury following the prior loss of former 205 Live man Dio Maddin. He too was put through the Raw table by a rampaging Brock Lesnar on the November 4th edition of the sho in order to facilitate his return to NXT and pursuit of in-ring success.

The new third person is yet to be announced, but it's likely Raw's Executive Director Paul Heyman will want somebody else to continue the marginal improvements that have been made since the tried-and-tested Michael Cole/Corey Graves pairing were moved to SmackDown.

Though Jerry Lawler remains a product of his time rather than the show he's watching, Vic Joseph has taken to the anchor role well - a third voice akin to the freshness of both Joe and Maddin would be welcome.
