Today is the day! Yes, it’s January 14th, which means that the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament is set to begin.
Airing from the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, the WWE Network exclusive will feature talent born out of Britain and Ireland.
All eyes will be upon the sixteen wrestlers that comprise the tournament, as they do battle in an attempt to claim the inaugural United Kingdom Championship.
Those who follow independent wrestling promotions are sure to be familiar with plenty of the names participating in the tournament. But this is not just a night for wrestling braggarts, as casual WWE fans can expect an exciting display of grappling from some of the best up-and-coming talent on the planet.

7. Dates And Time
The most recent WWE Network exclusive tournament will be held over the course of two days; today and tomorrow, in case you were unaware.
Beginning at 8pm local time – that’s 3pm for those of us in the Eastern Time Zone – by Sunday night there will be a new champion in the WWE Universe.
So if you haven’t already, make sure you free up your Saturday night, as there's British wrestling to be watched.
