WWE UK Tournament Wrestlers To Work UK Tour In May
Catch Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne, and more this May.
WWE's UK Title Tournament was a big success this January, and set 2016 off to a perfect start. Two nights of fast-paced action saw Tyler Bate crowned the first ever WWE UK Champion, and the likes of Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, and Mark Andrews emerge as bright new stars.
Most of the British wrestlers remain under contract, and a handful have already been integrated into NXT. Bate defended his title against his Moustache Mountain tag team partner Trent Seven last week, and Dunne vs. Andrews stole the show this past Wednesday.
Now, WWE's UK Tournament wrestlers are set to join the main roster for the forthcoming UK tour. As announced by WWE, the full list of participants is UK Champion Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, Wolfgang, Joseph Conners, Tyson T-Bone, Mark Andrews, James Drake, Dan Moloney, Sam Gradwell, Saxon Huxley, Tucker, Jordan Devlin, and Pete Dunne.
The tournament covers England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales, and runs from May 4th to May 12th. There's no word on specific bookings, but there's a strong chance WWE could use this tour as a means of preparing for an eventual standalone UK show, as has been speculated in recent months.
