2. Finals: Pete Dunne Vs. Tyler Bate

Result: Bate nails the Tyler Driver 97 to become the first ever WWE United Kingdom Champion (15:10).

Rating: This of course had a classic monster vs. underdog face story working through it, and Bate sold his injuries well to enhance the suspense throughout.

The back-and-forth was spectacular, especially in the final few minutes, to the extent that the winner wasn't that important: both guys got a huge rub here and their careers will benefit hugely whatever happens next.

Still, it seemed like Dunne would probably win, so Bate proving victorious was legitimately surprising, and the 19-year-old sure as Hell earned it. 8/10

As great as the final was, though, it wasn't quite the best match of the tournament...
