Fightful Select report that Hall and other nWo members would have been brought in around WWE's biggest show of the year as a means of promoting the new WWE 2K22 video game. There is currently no word on what, exactly, this would have entailed, though the iconic WCW group are cover stars for the title's nWo 4-Life Edition.

WWE 2K22 was released to widespread critical acclaim on 11 March, though its special editions came out three days earlier.

Whether or not WWE still plan on bringing New World Order members in for WrestleMania 38 weekend following Hall's passing remains to be seen. The market leaders' biggest show of the year takes place in Dallas, Texas on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 April.

Hall passed away at 63 years old on 14 March. The former Razor Ramon had suffered complications stemming from hip surgery, with a loose blood clot causing the three heart attacks that put him on life support one week prior to his death.

Along with Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash, Hall helped form the nWo following the legendary Bash at the Beach 1996 angle, in which Hogan was revealed as the Outsiders' "third man."
