WWE is apparently looking to bring back The Undertaker and John Cena for WrestleMania 37, reports Dave Meltzer on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer stated that provided WWE is allowed to bring fans into the building, they will talk to both Cena and Undertaker about making an appearance, as this is "just how it is, no matter what they say."

Cena and Undertaker both worked cinematic matches at WrestleMania 36 this year, with Cena falling to 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt inside the Firefly Fun House and Undertaker besting AJ Styles in the Boneyard. Their last match together went down at WrestleMania 34, when 'The Deadman' squashed the 16-time World Champion in under three minutes.

Undertaker seemed to confirm his pro-wrestling retirement on the Last Ride documentary series uploaded to the WWE Network earlier this year. This was the most candid and assertive he had ever been about stepping away from the ring, though such things rarely stick in professional wrestling. Terry Funk exists, after all.

WrestleMania 37 was originally set to go down in Los Angeles, California next year, though Gary Cassidy has since reported plans to move to Tampa, Florida instead, which is where WM36 was supposed to be held.
