Damian Priest wasn't involved in Saturday's King and Queen of the Ring PLE, but he and his WWE World Heavyweight Championship made some news when Paul "Triple H" Levesque announced his next challenger during the event.

In a backstage interview from the Saudi show, WWE's COO revealed that Drew McIntyre had been medically cleared for action and that he was honoring Priest and McIntyre's agreement to face each other for the title, booking Drew to challenge Damian at Clash at the Castle next month. The announcement means that McIntyre will fight for a world title in his home country of Scotland, a reality Drew was more than happy to play up on his favorite platform:

Priest confronted McIntyre on Raw recently while the Scottish Warrior was ranting about the Judgment Day man being little more than a paper champion. He offered Drew a title match whenever he was medically cleared from an elbow injury.

Shortly after Triple H made his announcement, Priest commented simply on X, "Let's go!!!"

McIntyre won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, defeating Seth Rollins. However, Drew taunted CM Punk at ringside, leading to a beatdown that brought out Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and capture the world title.

Clash at the Castle will emanate from Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday, June 15.
