By the time the first WrestleMania came around, Mr. T had a reputation as a genuine tough guy. His acting roles, especially in The A-Team and in Rocky III made him a household nickname, and soon enough, that translated into a tag team match in the main event of WrestleMania. These days, Mr. T can be found appearing on various sorts of TV shows, where he attempts to make use of his famous I Pity the Fool catchphrase. These include: an appearance on the Shopping TV channel where he was selling his Mr. T Flavorwave oven, a fail show called Worlds Craziest Fools, and most recently, a DIY Home Improvement show called I Pity the Tool. While this might be considered a substantial fall from where he once was, a part of that may stem from his Born-Again Christianity. After his conversion, he donated a lot of his valuables to charity, and stopped wearing gold after Hurricane Katrina. Mr. T was inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014.
