WWE WrestleMania 30: 13 Big Questions That Need To Be Answered

By JD Shrader /

Wrestlemania XXX is finally upon us. Following the annual year-long build for this year's big event, we are merely just days away from the 30th anniversary of The Granddaddy Of Them All. And to that end there are many, many questions that must be answered as we head into what is the calendar year's end for the WWE. The company has not really done justice to their grandest pay per view thus far. The story lines that have been presented, outside of the incredible build with Daniel Bryan versus The Authority, have been very hastily thrown together as the company again tries to appease returning talent for the annual showcase. CM Punk didn't take too kindly to this 3rd-year-in-a-row repeat offense, and he took his proverbial ball and went home...with no warning. And if the WWE does not get Wrestlemania XXX right by the night's end, it's very possible that fans will do the same and follow suit with Punk, leaving the WWE behind in the wasted potential it will have become. So how do they get there, to the other side of the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania in one fully intact piece? How does the WWE find resolution at a Wrestlemania that has been so plagued with such an inconsistent build? The WWE can get there by finding a way to successfully, confidently, and without question answer these 13 burning questions that we all have as we enter the 30th anniversary of Showcase Of The Immortals:

13. Will The WWE Network Successfully Handle The Traffic?

http://youtu.be/Y4sxXc_Yhtw This is the biggest and without question the single most important question that must be answered with the streaming broadcast of Wrestlemania XXX this weekend: can the WWE Network handle the viewing traffic? The short answer is no. No it cannot. Recent history shows us that the WWE and its fantastic (and aside from the streaming issues, it is actually fantastic) new network is not ready to handle all of the traffic that will come with the 30th anniversary, inaugural internet broadcast of Wrestlemania this weekend. Even the minor NXT Arrival event that was kind of a trial run for the WWE Network last month was met with frozen screens and lost connections across the WWE Universe. The WWE has stated that they have already upgraded their carrier capabilities with more servers being installed constantly up until the big event this weekend. But even with the additional bandwidth and streaming capabilities that have been added, the success of this first Wrestlemania on the WWE Network is crucial to the WWE's long term plans moving forward for the entire company, and it's still a huge question mark. So much hinges on the success, or failure, of the WWE Network this weekend that we, as fans, cannot fully comprehend it's importance. Most everything is riding on this for the future of the business, and the ultimate success or failure of the WWE Network could ultimately hinge on it's performance with Wrestlemania XXX.
