WWE WrestleMania 30: Real Americans vs The Usos Tag Title Match Expected?

By John Canton /

This past Monday's Raw had an interesting development as it pertains to the tag team title situation in WWE. The Real American defeated the tag team champions The Usos in a non-title match. It's typical WWE booking to have champions lose non-title matches. In fact, it happened three times on Raw since Randy Orton and AJ Lee also lost. They do that as a way to build up contenders. The manager of the Real Americans, Zeb Colter, tweeted about how Cesaro and Jack Swagger deserved a tag team title match at WrestleMania 30 after their win. It's interesting to note that on a recent edition of a German broadcast of Raw, Cesaro was announced for the Andre the Giant battle royal, but it appears though that decision has been changed since he hasn't been pushed for it on television. If he was a part of it, they likely would have mentioned it by now. In another interesting development regarding the tag division, the team of Cody Rhodes & Goldust defeated the Real Americans clean on Main Event on Tuesday night, so that would mean they have a right to challenge for the tag titles too. What will most likely happen is that The Usos will put the tag titles on the line in a four way tag team match (possibly elimination style) where they are challenged by the Real Americans, Cody Rhodes & Goldust and the New Age Outlaws. Remember that the Outlaws haven't used their rematch clause after losing the tag titles. That means that they can justify a tag title shot as well. As for the Real Americans, the split to turn Cesaro babyface likely won't happen before WrestleMania. Perhaps it will happen at WrestleMania itself when they lose the match, Swagger gets mad about it and Cesaro attacks him to earn the respect of the fans. Since WWE has done a better job of pushing tag teams in the last year, here's hoping that these four teams get a chance to show what they can do.
