6. AJ Styles Vs. Chris Jericho

Result: Jericho pulled the referee in front of him to confuse Styles, then landed the Code Breaker for the win (17:10).

Rating: This one had the potential to be a classic but was actually pretty underwhelming overall, and really just OK. First and foremost, it was clear that it ran way too long at almost 20 minutes: the two had exhausted most of their best spots by half that time, and it just sort of clambered to a fairly dull heel finish.

It was interesting to see Styles lose his first Mania match, which on one hand was disappointing but at least less predictable than a decisive Styles win. Still, nothing hugely memorable here even if it was decent enough. 6/10
