Goldberg is back!

Prior to the announcement that WWE 2K17 would be featuring the former undefeated WCW Champion, Goldberg returning to WWE for one more match seemed like a longshot at best.

Once the news leaked that Goldberg would be stepping back inside the squared circle for one more go-round with WWE's hottest superstar in Brock Lesnar, the outcome seemed obvious. After all, what sense would it make for Goldberg, in his farewell match, to get the duke over the company's most protected talent?

Well at Survivor Series, WWE reminded everyone exactly how great and exciting pro-wrestling can be. Toronto's Air Canada Centre was left stunned after Goldberg got the victory - a squash victory - over Brock Lesnar in the show's main event. Minutes after the match ended, fans were already looking ahead and wondering what was next for Goldberg.

Surely now, the WCW icon would be used for more than just that one Survivor Series match, but how? With all roads eventually leading to Orlando for WrestleMania 33, Goldberg is all but certain to factor into WWE's plans for the big 2017 event, but against whom?

Will WWE give this opportunity to one of their full-time talents? Would WWE look to bring back another old-timer to deliver a dream match, perhaps one that's not yet been seen? Or will WWE look to book a rematch between Goldberg and one of his past rivals?

Let's break it down...

10. Stone Cold Steve Austin

Of all the dream matches that WWE has been able to present over the years since acquiring WCW in 2001, one that constantly eluded fans was the face of WWF's Attitude Era vs. the face of WCW's post-nWo invasion era.

The two flagship performers have never met inside the squared circle, though Goldberg was unceremoniously stunned following his WrestleMania XX victory over Brock Lesnar. That night was actually Goldberg's last night in WWE until 2016 and Goldberg's first night in WWE came the day after Austin wrestled his final match. While Goldberg did square-off against The Rock, another Attitude Era icon, the Austin/Goldberg showdown is the one every fan dreamed of.

These two icons of the Monday Night War coming together to give the fans a match of the century would be one of the biggest WrestleMania main events of all-time. Unfortunately, given the age of both men, and Austin's unwillingness to return to ring shape for another match, this colossal showdown cannot be ranked any higher than #10 on the list due to the low probability of taking place.
