WWE WrestleMania 35: 16 Results Predictions

When the man becomes an, er, even bigger man.

If you didn't know, WrestleMania is tonight. And, technically, tomorrow. A mammoth 16 match show is set to test the numb backsides of those attending in MetLife Stadium to the very limit, amongst them three enormous and highly anticipated title matches, and two big valedictories - at least one of which threatens to run anywhere up to 30 minutes.

As exciting as it all is, and even if the matches deliver, it'll be a trial to get through. If WWE pull out every single stop available, the excessive run-time virtually guarantees it won't beat NXT as the weekend's big winner (and thanks to the Ring Of Honor segment of the G1 Supercard, that crown is looking pretty assured).

So let's forget about match quality and bask in the drama. And boy, does this year's edition pack a punch or two in that department. For the first time in what feels like forever, there's interest surrounding all the major titles - and something approaching mystery with regards to the outcomes.

Except in the case of the night's historic main event. There can only be one winner there... right?

16. Nese Up Cancelled As Show Kicks Off

You simply can't hold a month long tournament to determine the challenger for a title at the company's biggest annual show and then have him lose cometh the hour. Except you can when it's the Cruiserweight strap.

Buddy Murphy has been brilliant since picking up the purple belt in his home town of Melbourne - no, really, he has - and there's no particular reason to shift it over to Tony Nese tonight, even if it would create an early show talking point. None of this will matter much before long anyway.

Prediction: Bud lights up a half empty MetLife Stadium with a win.
