WWE WrestleMania 37: 10 Awesome Matches That Should Happen (And Why They Won't)

10. Jey Uso Vs. Daniel Bryan

Okay, bear with me for a moment, this one requires a little bit of explaining. WWE has done an excellent job of making Jey Uso a legitimate top-level player in recent months, establishing him as singles heel to be reckoned with. The promotion can't allow this momentum to be stopped through inactivity, but it also needs to give Jey something to do that doesn't directly involve Roman Reigns. With that in mind, Jey should be the one to dethrone Big E. as WWE Intercontinental Champion. If this happens after E. wins the Royal Rumble, even better.

Daniel Bryan has never made any secret of his desire to make the IC Championship a title for the workhorses, to defend it against the unheralded talent of SmackDown on a weekly basis. He has won it at WrestleMania before, but injury scuppered his plans. Last year, he fell short in challenging Sami Zayn for the same belt. Could third time be the charm for a once in a generation talent in the twilight of his career?

Daniel Bryan vs. Jey Uso fighting over the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 37 has all the potential in the world but it more than likely won't happen. Bryan could be an outside bet for the Rumble, while Uso will likely have to make do with a Battle Royal spot or some sort of role on the outside during Roman's match.
