As picked up on by Mike Johnson over at PWInsider, WWE WrestleMania 38 was quite the success for Peacock.

From Content Intelligence company Diesel Labs, 'Mania 38 saw an 18.9% increase in engagement when compared to WrestleMania 37. Likewise, that increase is also better than the 11.5% rise in engagement that 'Mania 37 saw on its own 2020 predecessor.

Impressively, 71.9% of of Peacock's audience for this year's Showcase of the Immortals were new "engagers" who hadn't partaken in the prior year's WrestleMania.

Numbers such as the above will provide further evidence to WWE as to why Vince McMahon's sports entertainment juggernaut should proceed with holding WrestleMania as a two-day event, with WWE ranking first above all content conversation for Night 1 of this year's 'Mania and coming in third on that front for Night 2.

Overall, the 2022 iteration of WWE's Granddaddy of Them All drove a network audience lift of 5.3% for Peacock - which is only behind the Winter Olympics this year when looking at events or shows that caused a direct increase in driving up the Peacock audience.

As for the two-day format, WrestleMania is confirmed to be sticking with that for next year's Show of Shows... and it seems likely that that trend will continue forward for the foreseeable future.
