12. GUNTHER Shows His IC Strength

When was the last time people were this excited for an Intercontinental Title showdown at WrestleMania? The much-loved belt was last defended at 'Mania when Apollo Crews and Big E met in a "Nigerian Drum Fight" two years ago, but spotlight has become a rarity for the IC strap.

GUNTHER vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus changes that. Fans are right up for seeing these three workhorses chop the living p*ss out of each other, and hopes are high that this will become an instant Intercontinental classic which makes up for years of championship neglect on the biggest WWE stage.

Prediction: GUNTHER pins Sheamus again, and heads for a one-on-one match vs. Drew somewhere down the road. Then, assuming WWE ends his long stint as champion, the Austrian can move up a level to challenge for the Undisputed/WWE/Universal/World Title.

You just know creative will want to run GUNTHER vs. Cody Rhodes back at some point.
