4. Bucking Authority And A Dream Realized

For eight months, fans have watched as Daniel Bryan was constantly wronged by The Authority. He was repeatedly cost WWE Championship matches, beaten down by hired guns The Shield and labeled a B+ player by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, who spoke down to the proud Aberdeen native. Bryan was beaten, emotionally and physically drained but never quit. He was fueled by the chants of "YES!" by those who believed in him to bring about change in sports-entertainment. Sunday night, every obstacle and hurdle placed in his way will have been worth it if he can defeat Triple H in the night's most anticipated bout, then capture the WWE World Heavyweight title in the main event. The image of Bryan celebrating with the championship as confetti falls and pyrotechnics explode at the top of the stage would provide fans, both young and old, a moment they can all mark out for. It is not often that a performer comes along and completely unites an audience the way Bryan has and his triumphant, glorious moment on the biggest night of his career would define the entire show.
