Later, in conversation with Shinsuke Nakamura, she tweeted that she "felt far from the parking lot" (a rough translation).

Per Las Vegas' KSNV, "the shooting began following an altercation" with the suspects fleeing the scene immediately after. Three people suffered "non-life threatening gunshot wounds." Fortunately, there were no fatalities.

Local police are yet to identify a suspect and no descriptions have been issued to the public, with officers "unsure what the victims' roles were in the altercation and subsequent shooting."

Obviously the most important thing here is that nobody was fatally wounded, though wrestling fans will be relieved to hear that Asuka was able to take refuge in a Guess store. This must have been a terrifying situation for all involved.

'The Empress' is currently set to challenge for Becky Lynch's Raw Women's Championship at this Sunday's Royal Rumble pay-per-view, having defeated 'The Man' to retain the SmackDown belt at the same event last year.
