WWE's Bruce Prichard Reportedly Dealing With Health Issues
The WWE Senior Vice President was absent from this week's Raw.
Following on from yesterday's report that Bruce Prichard was one of several members of upper management missing from this week's WWE Raw broadcast, there now comes word that Prichard is reportedly dealing with a health issue at present.
This news comes via the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, with is said that the 58-year-old was sick a couple of weeks back, and that he has missed other Raw and SmackDown shows due to this. In terms of specifics, there's no information right now on what this medical issue is.
Monday night saw Prichard, Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, Michael 'PS' Hayes and Adam Pearce all absent from a Raw which emanated from Detroit's Little Caesars Arena. In regards to the former Brother Love, Bruce's role was filled in for by lead writer Ed Koskey this week and during any other TV tapings Prichard has had to miss.
As per WOR, the belief is that most of these absences were done as a precautionary measure due to the rise in COVID-19 cases ahead of the WWE Day 1 PPV this Saturday. Whether Prichard is back involved for Day 1 remains to be seen, but it has been said previously how WWE views this as a major PPV for which they want all hands on deck.
