Sunday's NXT TakeOver 31 event saw the debut of WWE's Capitol Wrestling Center inside the Performance Center, with the black and gold brand unveiling a completely new set design, including big, blocklike walls of virtual fans around the ring, similar to the current ThunderDome setup on Raw and SmackDown.

The most notable addition was the small number of live audience members allowed into the building. Per a new report from Fightful Select, this will continue.

Crowd members aren't allowed to buy tickets for CWC shows, but are instead being brought in on an invite-only basis on a weekly basis, with a free COVID-19 test provided the day before the event (Tuesdays, for NXT) and temperature checks conducted when they arrive at the venue. Wearing a mask is compulsory and fans are to follow strict social distancing guidelines, with WWE also requiring they sign a limited liability waiver.

Triple H spoke positively on the Capitol Wrestling Center after TakeOver 31, saying his wrestlers felt a big difference with live fans come back for the event while revealing that fans were situated in separate "pods," similar to what AEW is currently doing at Daily's Place.
