WWE's Charlotte Flair Will "Absolutely" Be At Ric Flair's Last Match
The Queen will be present to watch her father's purported 'final' match.
With it now known that the 'final' match of Ric Flair's career will see him teaming with Andrade El Idolo to take on Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal later this month, the Nature Boy has confirmed that his daughter Charlotte will "absolutely" be in attendance for this send-off at Starrcast V.
Billed as Jim Crockett Promotions Presents: Ric Flair's Last Match, the 16-time World Champion appeared on Busted Open Radio to detail how the Queen will be at the PPV to support her father and her husband - with Charlotte nowadays married to Andrade.
As Naitch put it (via WrestlingHeadlines):
"She'll be there, but I don't know whether she'll be on camera or not. Absolutely, she will be there. She wouldn't miss that. I don't think she'd miss it even if Andrade wasn't involved, she just might not be on camera."
Charlotte has been absent from WWE programming since losing the SmackDown Women's Title to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash. During that time, as alluded to, Charlotte and Andrade got married and went on their honeymoon.
It's expected that the WWE star will be returning to action imminently, with it notable that Ric Flair's Last Match takes place in Nashville on 31 July... which is one day after WWE holds this year's SummerSlam from Nashville's Nissan Stadium.
Of course, Charlotte Flair - then known simply as Ashleigh - was present for Ric's prior retirement match at WrestleMania XXIV back in 2008. Just 22 years of age at that point, it would be another four years before Charlotte signed a developmental deal with WWE.
