WWE's Cody Rhodes Blacks Out His Twitter Background
Is the American Nightmare the White Rabbit... or could his time with WWE be at an end already?
With wrestling fans these days looking to social media for any and all hints about what lies ahead for their favourite grapplers, Cody Rhodes' recent Twitter activity has caused quite the discussion on Reddit.
The American Nightmare has updated his Twitter profile picture to that of a bleeding version of his famed logo, whilst he's also completely blacked out his background image.
Some fans are speculating that this could all somehow tie in with Rhodes being involved with the White Rabbit teases currently being seen on WWE programming, while others are taking this as Cody having got a new tattoo that looks like his latest profile picture.
Of course, there are those who suggest that this could all be an indicator that the one-time AEW EVP has finished up with WWE and is weighing up a return to All Elite Wrestling. In fairness, that theory is about as likely as user Baggzio's (hopefully) tongue-in-cheek idea that Rhodes could be heading to IMPACT Wrestling to form a new version of the Undisputed Era along with Bobby Fish and QT Marshall.
As of this writing, Cody Rhodes is on the sidelines after suffering a pectoral tear prior to his match against Seth Rollins - the pair's third consecutive PPV battle - at Hell in a Cell this past June. While there is no timeframe on when the Grandson of a Plumber will be cleared for in-ring competition, many fans are hopeful that Cody will be able to make his grand return as an entrant in the 2023 men's Royal Rumble match.
