Building stars today is essentially for no longer having to rely on the mundane flashback nostalgia acts like we saw at WrestleMania 32 when the Rock left the Wyatts looking like minor leaguers in contrast. It stinks, and the way to do that is to make today€™s guys feel important. Some of this list is peering into the future while crossing our fingers that some cool, refreshing things will happen, leading up to a very interesting and bright future in 2017 and beyond. But not this. This is a guaranteed rivalry that will finally receive the exposure on the largest platform imaginable in the WWE.

Arguably, nothing feels as important in today€™s landscape without needing a rub from established talent than the impending, epic feud between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. These two guys have been doing this for years, and it€™s only logical that these two will continue doing this into their 40s, health-permitting. Why? Because we could watch this rivalry carry on for decades to come and never get bored of it. Kevin Owens is a bully, and Sami Zayn is the guy everyone likes who just can€™t get the best of the bully. It€™s tried and true. This is an attraction blood feud waiting to happen on the main show, just as it was in every territory before it. If it ain€™t broke, don€™t fix it, right?

The hottest question is whether or not these guys can €œget over€ with the average fan in attendance. Wrestling personalities like Vince Russo will argue that the duo is pointless and that only the die-hard fans care about them, but the intense reactions they receive in arenas throughout the countries is proving the crestfallen booker wrong. Allowing these two to depict themselves instead of campy-written television characters is the key, and that remains to be seen, but if the gloves come off, expect physicality on a whole new level for anyone not named €œBrock Lesnar€ on their program.
