WWE's Dean Ambrose Hints At Retirement?

That would guarantee a wrestling comeback.

The Shield easily dispatched the trio of Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin at last night's 'Final Curtain' special, as the group said one last goodbye to buddy Dean Ambrose before his WWE departure.

Before the match, the Hounds of Justice were unfortunately forced to speak with Michael Cole. During the interview, the announcer began to quiz Ambrose on his future beyond WWE - provoking a rather intriguing response.

"Let me stop you there, because I already know what your final question is gonna be," barked Ambrose. "I don't appreciate people putting words in my mouth. I don't appreciate people trying to tell the story of my life to fit their narrative."

Well, there was no need for that.

Enraged, Ambrose continued:

"Eight years ago, I walked into this casino. Now I'm cashing my chips and walking away from the table. What I do with the rest of my life from here on out is my business. I answer to no one. This time, the Million Dollar Man didn't get what he wanted because I can't be bought."

This was a not-so-coded message designed to say: AEW's vast resources aren't enough to tempt me.

If not All Elite, then, save a return to CZW (yup, it's still on the go), we can't see Dean wrestling anywhere else. Does this mean he's about to enter retirement?

Every wrestling fan knows what that means. Expect him to show up again in six months' time.
