WWE will return to Saudi Arabia with Crown Jewel 2022 on Saturday 5 November, as confirmed during last night's episode of Raw.

While the promotion stopped short of announcing which arena would host its latest premium live event in the Kingdom, Riyadh was confirmed as the city.

Crown Jewel 2022 will be WWE's first Saudi Arabian show since 19 February, when Elimination Chamber took place in the country for the first time. That Jeddah event was headlined by Brock Lesnar's triumph over AJ Styles, Theory, Bobby Lashley, Riddle, and Seth Rollins in the titular men's match, setting up his WrestleMania 38 main event with Roman Reigns.

WWE's Saudi Arabian events are part of an initial 10-year deal signed by the promotion and the Saudi General Sports Authority. Serving as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 program to rehabilitate the regime's abject human rights record, these shows see WWE paid around $50 million each time out.

Here's how WWE's upcoming premium live event calendar looks following Crown Jewel 2022's announcement:-
