WWE star Jason Jordan could soon undergo neck surgery, according to a recent update from Wrestling Observer Radio.

The 29-year-old is said by insiders to have been battling an unspecified neck injury over recent weeks. Though he is currently still appearing on Monday Night Raw, his involvement in the show has been confined largely to a speaking role.

Along with partner Seth Rollins, Jordan dropped the Raw Tag Team Titles to The Bar at the Royal Rumble last week, a match in which he played only a minor part. His last serious physical excursion in WWE came nearly one month ago, in a six-man tag team bout.

Reports earlier this week have cast doubt over the former American Alpha star's chances of competing at WrestleMania 34. Some of them have even claimed that he is having issues with his grip, a symptom that would obviously be associated with severe injury.

Jordan's spouse, however, last night dismissed such stories as "fake news". Taking to Instagram, April Everhart told followers that, though her husband is currently sidelined, it is only a "minor" issue for which the recovery time is much shorter than sources online have suggested.
