WWE's Jeff Hardy will appear in court this Thursday, following his arrest for driving while impaired in October.

Hardy, who is currently out of action with a knee injury, missed his original date in court in November, with a new appointment scheduled for 5 December.

The multiple-time tag champion was booked by police in Monroe County, NC at 10:30pm on 3 October, on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was later found to have been driving with a revoked license.

The DUI arrest was Hardy's second in the past two years. Last March, the 42-year-old was involved in a single vehicle accident, when he slammed his 2016 Cadillac into a roadside barrier. Police reported that the superstar submitted a breath test three times over the legal limit.

Hardy's personal problems have continued throughout 2019. In July, he was arrested for public intoxication in Myrtle Beach, SC.

In the wake of his most recent run in with the law, WWE released a statement distancing themselves from their employee, reading "Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions."

Nevertheless, the company expect him to return as a performer when his legal troubles are behind him.
