What a saint.

Indy company Freelance Wrestling revealed plans to run a "wrestling telethon" of sorts over the next few weeks. They're asking that fans donate cash via PayPal to their favourite wrestlers during their matches. That's when Ali piped up.

He tweeted out that he'd be covering every single performer's wage for the first event.

"Scary times only exist when you feel like you’re on your own. I’ll be donating to cover all of the performers pay for the 1st event. I encourage anyone that is in the position to do so, please donate and allow these incredible artists to perform for you. @FreelanceWres is home."

That seriously magnanimous gesture didn't go unnoticed by the pro wrestling community. Indy wrestlers like Kylie Rae, Veda Scott, Ethan Page and more all replied to Ali's tweet with praise.
