WWE's Paige Undergoes Emergency Surgery
Former NXT Women's Champion now in recovery.
Paige has undergone emergency surgery to remove an ovarian cyst.
The news was confirmed by the former NXT Women's Champion's boyfriend Ronnie Radke, who posted the above picture of her on his Twitter with the details as way of explaining a recent show cancellation.
Paige wasn't on this week's edition of WWE Backstage on FS1, though the panel have rotated most weeks so it wasn't made public that she was unable to be part of proceedings due to such significant health reasons.
She didn't formally confirm nor deny the story as per Radke's comments, though did notably quote and reply to one of the responses to his original update and then pleasingly advised that she was on the mend.
With any luck, she'll be able to make a quick return to the FS1 role - Paige is a vibrant addition to the regular line-up to the shiny-floored studio show, and her honest takes on everybody from Seth Rollins to CM Punk have ensured that the shoulder programming doesn't just act purely as a barker for the main roster.
