With this week's episode of WWE Raw seeing Bianca Belair confirm that Rhea Ripley is dealing with an injury issue, the Nightmare has moved to provide an update on this matter.

Previously, Ripley was due to challenge Belair for the Raw Women's Championship at the Money in the Bank premium live event on 4 July. Instead, it will now be Carmella facing the EST at MITB for that prize.

Despite WWE programming detailing that Rhea was dealing with an unspecified injury, some fans have speculated that the Australian is in fact medically cleared to compete, and that her removal from Money in the Bank is purely down to WWE creative not knowing what to do with the Judgment Day faction at this time.

Playing down such talk, Ripley replied to fan on Instagram to say she's suffering with a "brain/teeth" issue.

Of course, this comes on the back of the inaugural NXT UK Women's Champion requiring dental work after taking a stiff knee shot during the six-person Hell in a Cell match that saw Rhea, Damian Priest and Edge defeat Liv Morgan, AJ Styles and Finn Balor. While it's not been confirmed, footage from the match suggests that it may have been Ripley's own knee that did the damage to her teeth.

As of this writing, there's no timeframe on how long Rhea Ripley will be out of action, but hopefully the 25-year-old doesn't have to spend too long on the sidelines.
