The Messiah doesn't know who the KKK are, apparently.

Remember when Seth Rollins, after making one disastrous Tweet after another all throughout 2019, deleted his social media accounts in a bid to prevent his terminal case of foot-in-mouth disease?

Yeh, well, he might be wishing he'd stuck to that policy.

In a scarcely believable episode, the former Universal Champion was this weekend forced to explain why he'd posted a picture depicting the KKK on Instagram.

Rollins made an Instagram story featuring a photo of three klansmen, apparently in an effort to promote his friend's product, The Boy & The Bear Coffee. One way or another, it's certainly accomplished that stated goal. Here's the post in question:

The Messiah quickly deleted the post once the furore kicked off, and later explained via Twitter that he thought the people in the picture were three witches, as though it were an amateur production of Macbeth. He further apologised for any confusion, concluding with "F the KKK. F racism" - something we can hopefully all agree on.

Given the depressing rise in far-right nationalism in the US in recent years, and the prominence of the KKK throughout the country's history, it's somewhat surprising Rollins didn't immediately twig. We're willing to believe he was doing his best Wayne Hennessey impression, and is now "desperate to learn about the Klu Klux Klan".

We'd also advise he maybe switches his smartphone off for a good few months.
