7 Wrestlers Who Got Fired RIDICULOUSLY Fast

7. Aloisia (7 Days)

The third season of gameshow-era NXT is one of those wrestling projects so fundamentally rotten to the core that there's always been enough to pick apart without getting to the part where the original cast didn't even make it to Week One.

Season Two's finale on August 31st 2010 very briefly profiled the women that would be competing the first all-female edition of the show, and very literally standing out amongst the newest chasing pack was new rookie "diva" Lindsay Kay Hayward. Known previously as "Isis The Amazon", she'd worked around 20 matches over two years en route to the market leader, so it wasn't as if the company were just taking a total punt on somebody with physical gifts. Nor would that be a new phenomenon for pro wrestling anyway - plenty of behemoths broke in simply because other wrestlers were taken with their size upon spotting them out and about somewhere or other.

It was effectively "airport test" stuff, and the rebranded Aloisia had passed with flying colours just by standing there in the line-up. Why, then, was she nowhere to be found when the show started for real a week later? In storylines, her "pro" Vickie Guerrero had fired her due to supposed unhappiness with her efforts, but the reality was far harsher.

Though Hayward had been with the company for several months by the time she first appeared on television (signed to FCW, she'd yet to wrestle for the developmental brand before appearing on NXT), WWE were made aware that she'd previously worked in pornography before getting going in pro wrestling. This was enough for them not just to axe her from the show but cut her contract completely. She worked a handful of matches elsewhere over the next couple of years (including a TNA contest against Leva Bates that never made air), but eventually left the business behind to move into film and television.
