As the ongoing influence of COVID-19 continues to be felt across the globe, the latest event to fall victim to the Coronavirus is the XFL game between the Seattle Dragons and the LA Wildcats.

The XFL has confirmed that the game will still take place as scheduled – 4pm this Sunday at Centurylink Field – but that no fans will be allowed to be in attendance.

In addition to this statement from the XFL, the Seattle Dragons have moved to make their own announcement that all single game ticket holders will be issued with a refund, while season ticket holders will have the option of a refund or a credit towards a future Dragons game.

Of course, Vince McMahon is the owner of the XFL, and Vinny Mac is currently sweating over whether or not WrestleMania 36 will be able to take place on Sunday, April 5.

Where WWE’s annual Showcase of the Immortals is concerned, CBS Tampa’s Ryan Bass reported earlier today that Mayor Castor and other high-up Tampa officials are due to meet tomorrow to discuss whether to cancel or postpone certain upcoming events. And you guessed it, one such event is WrestleMania 36.

At this stage, WrestleMania is still set to take place, but things could be very different by this time tomorrow - especially given how WWE is hoping to somehow cram, as per Charlotte Flair's promo on Monday night, 90,000 people into Tampa, Florida's 75,000-capacity Raymond James Stadium.
